Please read this before registering. It is assumed all registrants have read and agree to comply with the guidelines provided herein. Please print this page for your records. Pre-registration: Pre-registration is required. Students are accepted on a first come/first-served basis. Some locations require registering through a recreation/community center -- please see current class schedule. To pre-register for all other classes, print and complete registration form and mail it with appropriate payment. There is an annual (September - June), non-refundable $25 fee per year per family. 30% multiple-classes-per-week discount if applicable. Call for scholarship information or to arrange a payment plan if necessary. There is a $20.00 fee for all returned checks. Refund Policy: Enrollment is limited to guarantee appropriate teacher:child ratio. Therefore, we do not provide make-ups or refunds for any classes missed for any reason. To sample our program in advance, please come to one of our open house Parent/Child classes or call to make an appointment to observe the previous session. We do not allow "try-outs" or observing during the first class of each session. Attendance: We hope that children can attend every class of the session because group continuity is important for young children. However, we know that emergencies arise and we are happy to have your child for as much of the session as possible. (Please refer to the refund policy above.) Punctuality: Entering a huge dance room once a class is already in progress can be scary for young children. Timely arrival will help make your child's transition easier. All students must be picked up on time. Age: Our teaching philosophy allows plenty of room for each child to work at his/her own level. We expect that there is enough material in each course for a child to benefit from enrolling throughout the age span indicated. All of our classes are designed to be repeated for 3 to 6 sessions. Because children develop skills at different rates, we are flexible regarding age range. Please call if you have questions regarding the most appropriate placement for your child. Attire: We suggest comfortable, loose clothing for all movement classes. Bare feet are required. Tutus are not suitable attire because they limit creative options. Observation: Parents of students enrolled in our program are invited to watch the first and last classes of each session only. . Site-specific rules: Please keep your children under your supervision and in designated waiting areas until the teacher brings them into the dance space. No eating or drinking is allowed at any of the sites. |
